High-Rise Hotel Built in 15 Days

The 15-storey Ark Hotel in Changsha, China was built in just six days, inspiring us to think about reducing construction timelines to provide more affordable housing. Now for the sequel: a prototype for a 30-storey hotel in just 360 hours. This time-lapse video shows the construction of the New Ark Hotel, which is five times more energy efficient than a conventional building and is apparently capable of withstanding a magnitude 9 earthquake.
