Promotions at Henriquez Partners Architects
Gregory Henriquez, Managing Partner of Henriquez Partners Architects, is pleased to announce a number of promotions within the firm. Three individuals whose work reveals a tireless commitment to excellence have been awarded senior positions, including the firm’s first Directorship of Architecture.
Peter Wood, a former Associate, will continue to call upon his exceptional design skills while expanding his leadership role as the Director of Architecture. In this new capacity, Peter will oversee the design and management of all the firm’s active projects. During Peter’s ten years with the firm he has proven an invaluable leader as the Associate-in-Charge of significant large-scale projects such as the Woodward’s Redevelopment and TELUS Garden.
Shawn Lapointe has been promoted to Associate from Senior Project Manager. Since joining the firm in 2001, Shawn has lent his design and coordination skills to a number of projects. He has played an integral role in the BC Cancer Research Centre, the Gastown Parkades, the BC Children’s Mental Health Facility, and the Woodward’s Redevelopment, and exhibited a talent for leadership as a Project Manager for the York Theatre, 70th and Granville, and Brewery District projects.
Thomas Lee, MAIBC has been promoted to Associate from Architect. After a brief stint with the firm in 2005, Thomas returned in 2011 and his design talent and leadership qualities quickly made him an indispensable member of the team. He was instrumental in the design of the Dunbar Community Centre and TELUS Garden residential building, and has taken a leadership role on Fraser Mills, a large-scale master planning project, and the redevelopment of Oakridge Centre.
Congratulations to Peter, Shawn, and Thomas, and thank you for all your exceptional work!
