Variations On a Dark City
Lyon’s modernist buildings undergo a remarkable deconstruction in Norwegian artist Espen Dietrichson’s “Variations on a Dark City” series. He achieved the effect of levitating, exploded architecture that blends built form with axonometric diagrams by using a combination of drawing, photography, digital manipulation, and screen printing. The series is part of Dietrichson’s One of Many Unusual Moments exhibition at Galerie Roger Tator in Lyon.
