Mohamed Imam

Mohamed specializes in sustainable architecture and performative computational design, and is a PhD candidate studying at the University of Calgary. Originally from Egypt, he completed his Masters in Architecture at Oxford Brookes University in the UK before moving to Canada to complete his studies.

Mohamed is driven by design excellence: ”Excellence in design for me can be approached through performance-based computation in architecture, which can unveil the invisible dynamic forces that govern the architectural physical realm. These emergent computational capabilities can enrich architectural design and assist architects in navigating and testing multiple design solutions with embedded performance criteria against a multivariable simulation environment.”
