The Brewery District is a transit-oriented development adjacent to the Sapperton SkyTrain Station that offers all the services necessary to meet resident’s day-to-day needs. It encompasses retail, office space, health services, and a spectrum of residences spanning apartments, lofts, and live/ work spaces. These components are served and enlivened by a wide range of amenities, including a daycare, parks, plazas, and view decks.
The Brewery District at Historic Sapperton is designed to cater to sustainability and healthy living. It is planned to LEED Neighbourhood Development standards and incorporates several eco-friendly initiatives, including an innovative alternate energy program. It is adjacent to the Royal Columbian Hospital, which features a wide range of health services—including community health clinics, ambulatory care, and administrative and educational spaces.
