TransLink HQ at Brewery District
TransLink HQ is located on Nelson’s Court, just off Columbia Street in New Westminster and is the second phase of the Brewery District development. Home to TransLink’s Head Office and Transit Police, the purpose-build premises integrates both operational and executive facilities, allowing the organization to efficiently meet growing demand. As part of the Brewery District, a mixed-use, transit-oriented development, Translink HQ is strategically located adjacent to Sapperton Skytrain Station and in close proximity to regional thoroughfares and major highways.
The LEED Gold Certified, 8 storey building is designed with state of the art mechanical technology, energy saving measures and building systems, including variant refrigerant flow HVAC, green and solar-reflecting roof-scrapes, water management systems, solar shading and energy-smart power consumption. Familiar industrial/ urban materials, such as brick with steel detailing, respond to the existing aesthetic of the area and reference the site’s industrial history as home to famous breweries for over 100 years. Retail exists at street level, along with three levels of underground parking.
