
A member of Henriquez Partners since 2011, Bas applies technical expertise and eye for design to our projects, as well as towards our studio’s sustainability standards. Bas is currently overseeing the construction of both the 1770 Pendrell Street and 5058 Joyce Street projects, and was a critical team member on Granville at 70th, TELUS Garden Residential, Central Presbyterian Church and Blood Alley. Before starting at Henriquez, Bas gained experience in multi-residential, cultural, and institutional projects while working in Norway, Denmark and Toronto. Originally from the Netherlands, he completed a Bachelor of Science at the Delft University of Technology and a Master of Architecture at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Bas is a Certified Passive House Designer and currently leads the studio’s Sustainability Committee.
