
A member of Henriquez Partners since 2011, Bas applies technical expertise and eye for design to our projects, as well as towards our studio’s sustainability standards. Bas is currently overseeing the value engineering on Mirvish Village, the construction of the 5058 Joyce Street project, and was also a critical team member on 1770 Pendrell Street, Granville at 70th, TELUS Garden Residential, Central Presbyterian Church and Blood Alley. Before starting at Henriquez, Bas gained experience in multi-residential, cultural, and institutional projects while working in Norway, Denmark and Toronto. Originally from the Netherlands, he completed a Bachelor of Science at the Delft University of Technology and a Master of Architecture at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Bas is a Certified Passive House Designer and is an active member of the studio’s Sustainability Committee.
