Elena holds Bachelor of Architectural Studies and Master of Architecture degrees from Carleton University in Ottawa. With over 14 years of architectural experience, she has contributed her skills to institutional, healthcare, public safety, mixed-use and high-rise residential buildings.
Currently, she has taken on the responsibility of BIM Lead on several phases of the Oakridge Redevelopment project, as well as Coal Harbour Phase II. In addition to managing her own project scopes, she is an active member of the BIM Committee and is committed to ensuring that the office benefits from her expertise through education, training, and the continuous improvement of office standards and best practices. Elena is passionate about BIM’s potential to influence creative collaboration and excited to witness how it reshapes and transforms the practice of architecture. As a member of the Women in BIM organization, she strives to see the profession move toward more inclusive, encouraging, and supportive forums for individuals who lack representation in today’s technological field.
