The ambition of our work is to foster culturally rich and inclusive communities, including the most vulnerable members of our society. Beyond the built form, we aspire to be catalysts for social change through active participation in causes that align with our values in the communities we serve. We contribute to organizations that champion human rights, health, education, youth, sustainability, and the arts.

We have a longstanding commitment to Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. We have helped create a reliable food program for Woodward’s residents living in social housing, where we fund and serve lunch on a weekly basis. Since the inception of the hot lunch program, titled Woodward’s Wednesdays, we have been able to forge new and genuine relationships, and serve over two thousand meals to those in need. In September 2019, the program celebrated its one year anniversary. Through our active participation in our community and continued support to the various initiatives highlighted below, we hope to make a meaningful impact for our friends in the Downtown Eastside.
