Oakridge Park is now officially open to the public. After years of planning, design, and construction, the site is in operation, with new retail, public spaces, and the rooftop park beginning to define Vancouver’s newest city centre.

This milestone reflects more than 15 years of planning, design evolution, and community consultation. A robust public engagement process — including stakeholder workshops, open houses, and ongoing dialogue — helped shape the project into a complete, transit-connected community.

Oakridge has been featured in numerous press outlets, with recent coverage included below:

Conceived as a model for integrated urban living, the development brings together residential, office, and retail uses alongside a diverse mix of civic and cultural amenities. The housing program supports a broad spectrum of residents, including market and affordable rentals, social housing, and condominiums.

Sustainability is embedded throughout the project. Supported by a low-carbon district energy system, Oakridge Park is designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 70%, setting a benchmark for large-scale urban development in Vancouver.
