“The European Cultural Centre in Venice has just announced the 21 finalist projects for the ECC Awards 2025, the honors that the cultural foundation (founded in 2002 by Dutch artist René Rietmeyer) will present to participants of the architecture exhibition Time Space Existence, on view — in parallel with the Biennale — until the end of November in the spaces of Palazzo Mora, Palazzo Bembo and the Giardini della Marinaressa.
The 207 studios from more than 52 countries that took part in the seventh edition of Time Space Existence were all automatically eligible for the awards. The theme of this edition was Repair, Regenerate and Reuse, and over the months of organization, researchers, designers, architects, academics and artists from around the world were invited to contribute their perspectives. The final winners of the ECC Awards will be officially announced at the closing event of Time Space Existence on November 23, 2025.
The selected architecture studios are: Celina Abba + Enrique Cavelier (USA), Arhitektura Nova (North Macedonia), Elemental and Holcim (Chile and Switzerland), Henriquez Partners Architects (Canada), Semillas (Peru), and Vuild (Japan).”
