Since joining Henriquez in 2019, Agnes has displayed dexterity and strength in project management while leading Mirvish Village, and assisting the Stewart project team with complex design scopes. Prior to Henriquez, Agnes has gained vast experience in multi-residential, institutional, transit architecture and mixed-use developments during her 18 years working at various firms in Vancouver. Always striving for design excellence, she is continuously seeking to develop her craft and has become knowledgeable in all project phases including rezoning, design, construction and project management.
Agnes was born and raised in Malaysia. Her interest to further her education brought her to Ontario to pursue an engineering degree and later to Nova Scotia to study architecture. Agnes holds degrees in Bachelor of Environmental Design Studies and Master of Architecture from Dalhousie University, is a registered Architect and a Certified Passive House Designer. Agnes is passionate about sustainable design and leads the Sustainability Committee in the studio, advocating for sustainability initiatives and resources to inform design decisions.
