Jennifer is the Principal of our Toronto studio and brings over 30 years of experience in the design and delivery of educational, institutional, civic and residential projects. Her work has been focused on the creation of public spaces, and their contribution to civic environments. She is a collaborative team leader, knowing that a project’s success requires focus on common fundamental goals, and enables all participants to contribute meaningfully.
Previously a principal at Diamond Schmitt Architects, Jennifer led notable projects including the Humber College Cultural Hub, a mass timber student residence and new facility for the music and media faculties; The National Arts Centre Rejuvenation Project in Ottawa; Daniels Spectrum and Paintbox Condominium in Toronto’s Regent Park, Allard Hall Faculty of Law at the University of British Columbia; and the Harman Center for the Arts in Washington, D.C. She leads the Kennedy Green project which is in the first new Coop housing project in Ontario in over a generation.

Jennifer supports emerging architects through professional mentoring and as a frequent contributor to college and university design programs, as well as leading the studio’s architectural intern support group. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Carleton University in Ottawa and is a registered Architect with the Ontario Association of Architects; a member of the City of Hamilton’s Design Review Panel; and a Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.
