Sarah’s design philosophy is centered on the human experience. She believes that meaningful architecture anchors our perception of space when it draws from its context and engages the senses. Since joining Henriquez in 2019, she has valued collaborating with experts across disciplines, becoming a well-rounded architect with a deep understanding of project needs, and progressing as an informed designer of solutions.. Sarah has worked on various complex, mixed-use projects from schematic design through to contract documentation. Sarah was the lead project manager for the 2021 ECC Venice Biennale exhibition, which subsequently travelled to the AGO in Toronto and MOV in Vancouver.
Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Design from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, and holds a Master of Architecture from McGill University, where she was awarded the prestigious AIA Henry Adams Medal & Certificate of Merit.
