Cardero has won a 2023 Future House Award in the “Mixed-Use Buildings” category. Cardero replaces an aging office building with a striking mixed-use development and is a key focal point at the gateway to Vancouver’s downtown.

This award program is jointly organized by the Global Design News & The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, and honours “architectural projects that are both inclusive and pioneering, ultimately defining the current state, and influencing the future of residential design on a global scale.”
